2027: APC Guber, Senatorial Candidates Commence Rice Distribution To Oyo Traders

In a demonstration of their commitment to the welfare of the people and support for local businesses, the All Progressives Congress (APC) goverrnorship candidate in Oyo State for the 2027 election, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, alongside the party’s senatorial candidates, Senator Yunus Akintunde (Oyo Central), Hon. Remi Oseni (Oyo South) and Chief (Mrs.) Funmilayo Ogunesan (Oyo North), has commenced the distribution of over 250 bags of rice to traders across Oyo State.

The food distribution initiative, which targets market men and women in different parts of the state, is aimed at cushioning the economic challenges facing many households while reaffirming the APC’s commitment to the welfare and prosperity of the people.

Speaking on the initiative, the APC leaders emphasized that the exercise reflects the party’s people-oriented philosophy and its determination to stand with traders and other vulnerable groups during these challenging economic times.

They noted that traders remain a vital pillar of Oyo State’s economy and deserve continuous support and encouragement to sustain their businesses and contribute meaningfully to economic growth.
