‘I’m watching their performance’ – Churchill after Meurer, Tonto snub on Father’s Day

Date:

Olakunle Churchill, a Nigerian celebrity businessman, has shared a cryptic post after being snubbed by actress Tonto Dikeh and Rosy Meurer on Father’s Day.

Father’s Day is celebrated every third Sunday in June to honour fathers and legacies in society.

Celebrating this year’s edition on June 21 2026, many Nigerians, including celebrities, took to social media to celebrate their father and husband, while Churchill was ignored by his wife, Rosy Meurer, and his ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh, who he recently reconciled with.

Celebrating himself, Churchill shared his picture and prayed for all his children.

The silence from both women has garnered discussions on social media, with many linking it to the rumoured marital crisis with Rosy, following his reconciliation with Tonto Dikeh.

However, speaking in a cryptic post on his Instagram page on Tuesday, Churchill, who seemed to be responding to the incident, said he is playing dumb just to watch their performance.

“Smart people know when to play dumb. I know who is fake, I just enjoy watching their performance.”

DAILY POST recalls that Churchill had, during the Mother’s Day celebration in March 2026, snubbed Rosy Meurer and Tonto Dikeh as he only focused on his mother.
